High School in the small, football town of Southlake, TX, was a terrific experience. The Carroll Independent School District excels both academically and athletically. Between sports and extracurricular activities, I had an abundance of opportunity to grow and lead as a young man. Winning 3 state championships and leading the football team as a senior captain in 1994 was a highlight of those high school days. During this critically formative time in my life, I learned to take risks and to lead both on and off the field.
